Dear Students,

The Department of Civil Engineering at Kütahya Dumlupınar University admitted its first students in the 1993-1994 academic year. Since its establishment, our department has aimed to conduct its education and training activities in accordance with international standards and to achieve excellence in scientific research.

Our department is located on the Evliya Çelebi Campus of our University. Throughout their university life, our students have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of artistic, cultural, sporting, and intellectual activities on campus. In addition, Kütahya Dumlupınar University has Erasmus exchange agreements with numerous European universities. By taking advantage of these exchange programs, our students can broaden their knowledge, experience, and perspectives.

Civil Engineering is one of the engineering disciplines offering a wide range of employment opportunities. Civil engineers are involved in the planning, design, construction, and supervision of various types of structures and infrastructure, including buildings, bridges, roads, dams, and airports. In this respect, civil engineers play an important role in the development of the country. In order to provide our students with education that meets international standards, we continuously update our curriculum by introducing new courses and improving our laboratory facilities. One of our primary goals as the Department of Civil Engineering is to educate open-minded civil engineers who closely follow developments in their field and possess a broad perspective.
