Dear students;

Civil Engineering Department at Kütahya Dumlupınar University accepted its first students in 1993-1994 academic year. Since its establishment, our department has aimed to carry out education and training activities at international standards and to ensure excellence in scientific research.

Our department is located in Evliya Çelebi Campus of our university. In this campus, our students will find themselves in artistic, cultural, sporting and intellectual activities throughout their student lives. In addition, there are ERASMUS exchange partnership agreements signed by Kütahya Dumlupınar University with many European universities. Our students can increase their knowledge, manners and experience by taking advantage of these exchange programs.

Civil Engineering is one of the engineering branches that have a wide range of employment opportunities. Civil engineers take office in the areas of planning, design, construction and control of all kinds of structures such as buildings, bridges, roads, dams, airports etc. In this context, civil engineers play an important role in the development of the country. In order to offer training at international standards to our students, we have been constantly updating our training program with new courses and developing our laboratories. As the Civil Engineering Department, it is one of our main objectives to educate civil engineers who are open-minded, who can follow developments closely and who have a broad perspective.

As the department head, I would like to express my love and respect to all of our students, and I would like to state that we will be very glad to see you “the future engineers” in our department. Thank you very much for your interest.
